After their debut album "Salvation" (2018), Belgian Death Black Metal combo DODENGOD finally unleashes the new opus "Heralds of a Dying age" upon mankind!
The band, formed by YvS (guitars, bass) and SVN (vocals, lyrics, mix, mastering) was reinforced by drummer Barduk in 2021.
This opus is a 10 tracks symphony of death and destruction recorded and mixed by themselves. Dodengod creates a unique fusion of Death and Black Metal with a touch of Doom. Compared to "Salvation" the industrial influences diminish as this album was recorded with a real drummer. On "Heralds of a Dying Age" the trio digs more into traditional Death Black Metal, immersed into an old school sound.
Lyrical themes: death, anti-religion, misanthropy.
