PR049: Anomic - The Spider's Code
Thrash Death Metal from The Netherlands
Jewel-case CD with 16 page booklet featuring all lyrics, liner notes and exclusive pictures and graphics
Formed in Amsterdam in August 2023 by Dutch/Syrian guitarist and vocalist Raaf Atasi, ANOMIC deliver a merciless blend of Death and Thrash Metal, steeped in pessimism, apocalyptic fury, chaos and morbidity. Drawing inspiration from the likes of CORONER, MONSTROSITY, TESTAMENT, DEATH and BOLT THROWER, the band forge their own uncompromising sound, with Middle Eastern influences adding another dimension to their musical identity.
Following their 2024 debut EP, Opacity, released by Wormholedeath Records, ANOMIC return with The Spider's Code, their new full-length statement.
The band's lyrical universe explores existentialism, society, politics, insanity and morbidity, confronting the darker aspects of human existence through an abrasive and uncompromising musical approach.
