KOLAC reveal cover artwork and release date for upcoming album

Serbian Black Metal commando KOLAC announce the release date for their new, self-titled album, set for the 3rd of February 2024 on Pest Records!
KOLAC's upcoming official effort will be a special one: a self-titled loose concept record featuring 9 new tracks plus intro revolving around the usage of stakes ("kolac" in Serbian language) as punishment methods in the Middle Ages and beyond. Primarily a traditional Black Metal band, KOLAC allows plenty of Thrash Metal touches to enrich their compositions, and the result is a combination of primal fury and energy, with darkened melodies and rhythmic diversity.
Here's what the band had to say about it: "The time has finally come to start showing off what we've been working on for the better part of a decade! The cover artwork, as well as the complete design of our forthcoming, self-titled album was done by Entitatem.Nvll.Arts. His visual craftsmanship has brought all our thoughts and words to your eyes. As we've already revealed, our primary goal was to depict, in sound and lyric, the gruesome and cruel punishment of impalement on religious grounds. What you see on the front cover is a quest of retribution. An effective and clear message that crimes of the so-called righteous are not and will not be forgotten!
